This = month we're featuring Dennis Smink, founder of Ploi, a server management platform for = Laravel developers. Dennis has been a customer since October 2020 (five yea= rs and counting!), using Postmark for all his transactional emails across P= loi and Ploi Cloud. Here's his story.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

I am = a self-taught bootstrapped PHP developer specifically focussing on Laravel.=

Can you tell us a little bit about your experience and the work= you do?

I wor= k PHP mainly for over 20 years now. I started with Laravel 4 and have seen = all the versions come by. Nowadays, Ploi, and Ploi Cloud are my fulltime jo= bs.

How has Postmark helped you?

A lot= , we've been using it for all our projects and enjoy it extremely. I just w= ent to check my invoices, we started October 2020, 5-years of loyalty!

How are you using Postmark on your projects today?

We're= mainly using it for our transactional emails, via the API.

What advice would you give other folks in your role about imple= menting and managing their email?

Manag= ing email is hard, we've had a server type for emails and its an absolute p= ain to manage mailing yourself. Please leave it up to transactional provide= rs like Postmark to handle this for you. It's an absolute nobrainer.
